Getting Around

By Bus
There are bus stops located on the terminal forecourt and an express bus service (number 100) runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week between the airport and Waverley Bridge in the city centre, which is adjacent to the main train station. The frequency of the service ranges from every 10 minutes at peak times through the day, to half hour intervals at night and the journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from an onward travel desk in the UK arrivals hall, the airport information desk in the International arrivals hall, or on the bus itself.

By Road
The airport is located on the west side of the city and access to the airport is via the two-level junction on the A8, located halfway between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts. Car parks are available adjacent to the terminal building.

By Taxi
Taxis are available from a rank on the terminal forecourt, outside the UK arrivals hall. Typical journey times between the airport and the city centre are in the region of 20-25 minutes.
